RIDGEBACKS AT PLAY

Ridgebacks play rough with teeth bared and feet flying.  This is rough housing that is normally harmless but often other breeds don't understand.  It can be too rough for them.  The photos below are Ridgebacks at non-aggressive play. The aggressive appearance is all in fun. The dogs use some of the same techniques they would use on game in their native environment - stalking, sproinking, crashing and tackling. If your Ridgeback seems to be aggressive or "out of control" please seek professional help.
